A bit sian that the big moon was out.... no stars to see.

So, shoot the moon instead :)

A bit of layering, contrast, sharpening, here's what I got:

im using 70-300mm i cant get a clear shot of the moon =/ any tips?

Actually the 2nd pic is the same as the 1st, just cropped at 100% with slightly different PP. Could have sharpened it a bit more but would have been too noisy...

Anyway, pic was shot @ 1/60, f9.0, ISO100, if I remember correctly. Manual focus through Live-view, 250mm (400mm equivalent on the 500D).
