WTS: 2 telescopes and acessories

Hi folks,

I have 2 telescopes up for sale, one newtonian and one SCT. due to my work commitments, I have found no time to use these scopes any more, thus as such, I wish to sell them off to get some quick cash and perhaps serve a new-user that has more time, money and passion in his pocket.

1) edmund scientific astroscan2001

It is a simple, rugged rich field newtonian that is cased in a ball shape base, thus making it as a miniaturised portable. Its low cost, virtually zero maintenance and intuitive to use design, make it extremely idea for amateurs that are starting out in this hobby. It low FOV makes it super easy to search for bright DSO and allows the entire DSO to be viewed within the eyepiece. This scope also serves as a good living room ornament on cloudy nights and it never fails as a conversation starter for visitors as they will be wondering what a unique vase you have there! I have used this scope on a couple of ocassions, such as astro-events and random peeks at the sky and moon. Cosmetically and opticall in good conditions. As such, I am looking for $420. Price is slightly negotiable
