Jupiter from 11 Sep 2010

Post by cataclysm »

This was one week away from opposition, Jupiter is really at its prime, be it for imaging or visual. This time I was fortunate enough to capture GRS and the Red Spot Jr in transit. :)

Imaged with Takahashi Mewlon 210, 3x Televue Barlow & DMK21 Mono cam.

Just a bit too green to my liking. Or just me, turning green with envy.

I can see a lot of detail. There seems to be a third 'red spot' near the center top of the Jupiter's disc.

One of the best Jupiter's image I have seen.
Congrats!
