Hello All,

My QHY5 is working now. :D
Here is the first light on Mars taken yesterday as a quick test.

Even I still need to test more. I'm quite happy with the first result :)

Taken on 2230hrs Yangon Time, Stacked Image of 37 (1282x1050) frames. Stacked & Process in Registax, Resampled 2x, Resized 75%, Croped in Nero PhotoSnap Editor as I haven't reinstall PS3. :lol:
Equipment:
114mm, 900mm, Reflector on undriven equatorial mount. x2 Barlow. QHY5 Camera. Capture using HDCap software.

GOOD! I saw your long conversation with Mr Qiu over the other forum, but now good to know that finally it works. This picture shows the effectiveness of a long focus newtonian as a planetary scope and the careful focussing you have done.

Yes Meng Lee! Try this. . . try that . . . and camera works after 4 pages of discussion.:D Finally he write a new system file for me & other VIA chip set users. That makes the camera work.

Yah! It is time to shoot Mars! :D

That's a nice pic Boothee! I observed Mars last night too with the 80mm refractor, with the red filter at 222x, the surface features look just like that.

Yo Boothee, I imaged the Mars too on 14 Dec. I haven't processed the image yet. Let's see whether mine is better than yours. :P
