need C5 corrctor plate

Wanna make a scope? Or better still, grind a mirror yourself. Or, you have some good tips in making a really useful accessory? This is the place to show what your hands can do...

hi,

Need help. i got one C5 but only corrector plate has broken..is there any way to get corrector plate for this?

Hi, I do not think it is possible as Celestron matches the corrector plate to the mirrors.

what shell i do with this telescope? i still got secondary morror....
everythings are perfect except corrector plate....

anyone can give me sgstn....?

Send it back to Celestron for repairs...
[80% Steve, 20% Alfred] ------- Probability of Clear Skies = (Age of newest equipment in days) / [(Number of observers) * (Total Aperture of all telescopes present in mm)]

I still have with me an old 6-inch SCT with a broken corrector plate which I have kept for 10 years already! Haha! But I don't think it is worth the while to get it fixed.

But anyway here's a suggestion for you: try advertising on Astromart for a C5 corrector plate, maybe you may get lucky! :)
