Saturn imaged with phone camera

CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!

Saturn imaged with phone camera

Post by Gary »

Saturn captured with my HTC One S. Minor levels adjustment in photoshop to increase the contrast and brightness slightly.

@kochu @shirox - Thanks! Can't wait to do the same to Jupiter during its opposition. :)

@astrosiao - Don't waste your $100 lah. Else by July you will regret. :P

@beginner - Coming from a veteran APer, thanks! :) The well-collimated and cooled dob that night is doing most of the work actually.

@weixing - Thanks! Got special breath control technique one. :P

Thanks! Most of the public left by then. Else I would have been too busy "entertaining" the crowd to have time alone to shoot Saturn. :)

But earlier in that evening, they were excited by something even more amazing! Stay tuned... :)
