We're getting the iPhone 4s on October 28. I'm kind of excited, although I'm also curious to know what the telco's are offering the phone at. I'm ready to toss my Xperia X10 at the nearest wall.

Comparing with only all the iPhones released so far, 4S is indeed the best iPhone (on paper at least until actual units have been reviewed). For android, perhaps you can try HTC or Samsung. You are the third person I have heard having a not-so-great experience with Xperia.

Go Samsung Galaxy S2. Its the best phone I have ever used, period.
Disclaimer: I have used iPhones before but the limitations irks me, that being said, the iPhone user experience is still one of the best. And Galaxy S2 comes close... very close.

Well ... my Xperia isn't the most recent model, its from middle of last year. And I've also not updated it to the latest Android version. So some of my complaints about the device might be due to that as well.

I don't think I'd want to get another Android phone. I've been using my iPad for a year and the iOS user experience is an absolute joy.
Okay. There are things that I'm not too keen on in iOS, like how we can't go through the file structure of the device and locate specific files. But that is just a minor point.
