CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!
You simply need a good night. I used my F4.5 Borg 67FL with a Sony a6000 camera. I don't own a tracking mount so just simple point and shoot. Exposure time is kept below 2 seconds to avoid serious star trails.
These shots were taken from my HDB flat's window with all the light pollutions. Expectation kept low, so quite satisfied
Thanks for sharing, Bro. Been a while since I last saw you in Mersing! The a6000 series have very good low light performance. I have the same camera! But if you can spare some cash, the newly announced a6500 should be even better! Imagine what kind of images you can get having it even on a simple goto mount and a slightly longer exposure..!
