Is the renovation there over? Especially the most northern part of the beach?
u mean the playground in renovation? yes! since i never went there before, i dont know how it look like before. and yes there are constructions here n there too
shot near nicoll highway stn, a few hours ago. though this foto not exactly astro-related, but this was shot toward the Sagittarius/Scorpio direction. some of the brighter stars were still captured.
Nice shot! Thanks for sharing. Such photos have a nice effect on those who just conveniently assume we can't see any stars in Singapore because of light pollution.

this was a photo shot by my friend, n he "insist" that it was a meteor. he exposed for 30s n said this "meteor" appeared at abt 29.5s. juz need to know am i correct that this is not a meteor?

ya! saw many fotos on my fb timeline, all claiming a meteor... anw not sure is my analogy correct to explain to my friend. was using a needle or 2 , either 1 end is fat, the other is sharp or combined the 2 fat end of the needle where 2 end are sharp with centre bulging. since im not authoritive enuff to assert the plane streak claim, me juz let my comment died off, hahaha...
