Am at Frasers Hill now with others incl William (Universe24) and Jia Hao.

It was completely cloudy throughout last night (night of Thurs 13th). There was only a short period of clear patches around Orion and Taurus around 11pm, but we didnt see any meteors.

Will be spending a second night here, hopefully it would be clear tonight, but last night was the peak.

Looks like I have better luck with the Perseids, Orionids and S.D. Aquarids than Geminids, thus far.

Am doing some productive bird watching this morning. Excellent cool weather here, my thermometer showed 19.8C last night and this morning. 22 C at 5pm yesterday. Foggy most of the time. Its cooler than I expected, what with climate change and the altitude here being only 4000ft/1200m. This is my first time back in Frasers Hill since I was a kid.

Sounds like a fun get together cum astro trip! Good luck tonight!

Glad to know a few people in Singapore caught some meteors early this morning - some of them even caught 10! There are also people who are very excited and determine to catch their first meteor in their life and they did. One person even went for solo trip to Lim Chu Kang to accomplish that! Awesome! So bright! Thanks for sharing Mr Chia. We should have stayed a little bit longer in Bishan Park. :)

2nd night at Frasers Hill was also cloudy and/or foggy throughout.

An anti-astro weather event must have struck!

Total meteors seen over two nights = 0. Bird species = >20. Tree species = uncountable.
