you might need a better eyepiece as the one that came with it is not really good ones from my experience.kensou wrote:i saw saturn!! but so freaking small even wif 6mm ;(( need a more powerful scope xD
I got a baader 5mm hyperion. Not too bad. Affordable and good make as well.
Highly recommended by alot of bros here.
Mainly i guess is not the issue with the scope ba. I tried a 2x with 12mm (75x)
Jupiter shows up nicely but of course using the entry level Meade EPs.
For the past few months since i joined i have consulted advices from members here on how to use the scope, and read alot of the pros and cons of various scopes.
After so many readings and endless browsing thru the internet i still have tons of question marks! lol hahaha.
But its fun. I love the process of finding out about my interests and learning new things everyday. lol
I am joining the guys in March for Punggai from 11 march to 13 march.
Join us/them if you can and i think the experience will be different than in SG with so much light pollution.
LOL
