I saw a tube of fog prevention solution at carrefour selling at $8.95, dunno if that is suitable for scopes.

i think most spectacle shop carries them. spray mist type. suppose to be anti fog and anti dust. used on spectacles somehow works fine. but u wan to risk using it on scope?

This product seems a dry compound and a cloth if ad is to be believed.

I would suggest you get a 12V operated hair drier ...

see http://www.hunttheoutdoors.com/B0000BYQ ... oster.html

I am looking for one myself, does anyone know where to buy it in Singapore?

Thanks

Dew Prevention

Post by kochu »

I Have used Matthew's 12 V hair drier . It is effective , but drains the battery . The best energy saving way of dew prevension may be to pipe the laptop fan output thru a DIY adaptot and a perforated PVC hose wrapped around the scope front. I had thought of this quite often , but never came around trying it out.
