This Saturn image was shot on 28 Feb too. Once passed mid night, the atmosphere was pretty calm albeit rather hazy. Here was a 2nd attempt with the DMK21 cam. This round, I was really pushing it, clearly the camera has higher sensitivity over typical webcam. The Saturn was imaged at beyond f/50, by stacking 2X powermate and Vixen 2.4x tele extender with a colour filter wheel sandwiched between them.

Hi JY, the Saturn was imaged with Tak Mewlon 210. At that f ratio, the image appeared really dim and nearly covered 2/3 of the sensor. The luminance data was acquired at 1/23s frame rate with 1200 frames stacked. As for the colour data, i was using visual colour filters, not optimised for imaging, they are neither colour balanced nor parfocal, light through put are not conistent too. If I was not wrong, Red data was acquired at 1/12s X 600 frames, Green at 1/5s X 500 frames and Blue at 1/20s X 800 frames.Great image: how many frames per second could you get with the DMK21 on your setup and the hazy sklies? How many frames stacked? what scope?
Thks
