USB or Firewire ? The higher spec colour version seems to perform as well as the mono one.

plan to get firewire since i would like to capture it via the mac platform. entry level model->21. mono. planning to get filter wheel and filters.

Get the USB, can use on both Mac and PC and maybe sometimes other computers too.

the imaging PC laptop has firewire too.
Does firewire requires additional power source, or connect it to the pc like the usb version with a single cable?
