Maybe a conference of some sort with speakers, polluted skies star party, invite vendors to sell astro and related items. To do this we need to start early, maybe look for sponsors, venue, accomodation arrangements for overseas visitors and list of speakers.
Just a thought.

it sure needs planning and so on~
as a newbie here... i would think it is good to bring as many friends as possible during a OBS.
As so to promote astronomy and IYA2009~
Hopefully, will able to bring more people to take interest in astro.
