Hm, I was wondering if someone who's also participating in the event could pick me up at Toa Payoh Central too ? I would very much like to bring a larger scope on the Giro mount but can only do so with transport.

If you could wait until after 11pm when my work ends. I could pick you up along the way. Not late right? Night is still young.

Hi Bernard,

Thanks for your offer :D . But I'm afraid I'll have to be there at 8pm when they start because I've already given Leslie my word.

It's ok, I think I'll just bring my lighter Manfrotto setup and one of the smaller scopes that can fit on it.

Hi Samuel,
Everybody is waiting for the great day. Let us make it happen. Allow me to offer you a trip. I will coming down from the Hougang and will pick you at around 7pm. Is it alright for you? By the way, can you let me know how big is your larger scope. Can it fixin into my Nissan-Sunny car ?

Chee Chien,
Please let me know also how big is your scope. Perhaps I can pick you after I have picked him at 7pm.

rlow,
i will contact you if still have space left.

Regards,

Hi,

Thanks for your kind offer. How many people would you be picking up in total ? The mount is no problem, I think it can fit into any boot easily. The main problem is the scope itself. It's quite long and will be in it's carrying case. I have the feeling that once it's placed in the boot, there won't be space for anything else there. And if it goes into the backseat, then I think there is space left for only 1 passenger at the back. The case measures (LxBxH) 83cmx28cmx30cm.

Don't bother about me if it's too much trouble or if someone else has to be sacrificed. I'll still go all the same, but will just have to bring something else.

Hi,
I go alone. I didn't see any problem for that. The case can go into the boot. How many people at your side?

Dear Samuel

I think it is better you go with Chee Chien in Soon Yen's car. I can manage on my own by bringing along the megrez 80 on the mrt and i will maybe arrange to meet leslie at tampines mrt.

It's just me and my scope over here.

Hi Soon Yen
Thanks for your kind offer! But as I will not be able to confirm my attendance until the day itself because of work committments, pls don't reserve a seat - err, two actually, 1 for myself and 1 for the portaball - for me as there are others who are interested. Thanks again!

cheers
Chee Chien
