Normal digital camera

Post by hanif_90 »

Hi all,

I was just wondering, the pics of the nebulas people took, are they using those specialised cameras? So I tried to take a picture of the brightest star on the night sky on 5th August 2007. I tried zooming it to the fullest and the result? I got an image that looks like a nebula or something, which I don't think so it might be it.

So the question is, are the normal digital cameras can take pictures of these objects?

P.S I try to upload the pic that i took on that day ASAP....thanks

Some of them using normal DSLR, modified DSLR or even some compact camers and some of them use specialised camera.

The simple answer is Yes, but most compact camera had it's limitation and limited to some bright objects.

Have a nice day.

They use the Digital Single-Lens Reflex....ok.
But how about like exposures and stuff like that? I usually heard that an exposure of about 30 or more seconds and a few multi-shots, then you could get the end product.

Thanks
