Ob @ Turf City on 8th June 07

Post by Clifford60 »

Will be arranging for the next Ob @ Turf City on 8th June 07 (Fri) from 11pm to 1~2am. This time the ob will be at the car park just next to the old race track which is very near the Turf City Arch (see pic). So, you can setup your scope next to your car. No sand flies but may have some mossies, will bring mossies coil to protect the perimeter.

Please let me know your interest by 7th Jun, 10.00pm (post here or PM me). I need the estimate head count to inform TC management.

TO GET TO TURF CITY

Driver, from PIE exit at Eng Neo Ave, head toward Upper Bukit Timah Rd, turn right at Vanda Link (1st traffic Junction at Eng Neo Ave.), then right turn to join Turf Club Rd.

From Dunearn Rd toward City turn left at Turf Club Rd (between Sixth Ave and Eng Neo Ave).

A while on Turf Club Rd, you will see the Turf City Arch.

Once at the arch, follow the orange arrows to the site. Starting turning arrow is just after the arch and behind a small security post. If you turn up after light off, the street light also goes off, so be careful.

For non-driver, see TC link and see how to get there or arrange with one of the driver to give you a ride. (Car not horse).
