AP 140 EDF - notification list open!!

Post by vhuang168 »

If you have not signed up for the notification list, here's your chance to get on a NEW AP list. Its only 1 week old but right now its probably 2 years out. At least sign up then when ur time comes, you can always back out.

Just as a reminder, if any of you are being called up to purchase but you decided not to, please give that opportunity to any singastro members. Put a post here or something so that they can purchase it through you.

At least that's what I will do.

This is better than saying NO to them and that's it.

This is how the list work: You don't pay anything to get on a notification list. If and when you are subsequently contacted and offered the chance to actually order the scope, then you send in your 50% payment.

AP doesn't allow transfer of name, you must give your $$ to your friend called up by AP to order the scope. The scope will be made after your friend send the DP and he will be called again after the scope is finished (abt 1 year later) to send the rest of the payment plus shipping.

Yes, I have put my name in the notification list for all the AP scopes sometime back. Hopefully, in 5 to 7 years time when they call me up, my savings is enough to actually buy it :)

There's no 'STOP' in the vocab of a true astronomer :)

Sign up la..come to think of it I think i signed up for a Traveler
like 8 years ago!?

I remember there's one gentleman Loo(?) who owns a Traveler and
it was love at first sight, I mean the scope not Loo. Its one solid
piece of engineering. Anyone here still remember Loo? Maybe Remus
& Gavin & Lin still remember.
