Hi,

Here is the reprocessed version of the milkyway I took at Mersing recently.

Taken with a borrowed 350d on a tripod.

Hi Weixing,

I think it was at the 18mm setting, a stack of just 4x30 sec shots. Experimented with deconvulation in IRIS to get the sharper stars, though it still is a small line due to trailing. Here at example of before and after of M6,7 and 8 at full resolution:

What about f-stop and ISO?? Is it in RAW format?? Also, did you turn on the NR in Canon 350D??

Have a nice day.

Hi Weixing,

I think it was ISO1600 with aperture fully open. Not sure what it is though..

Hi,

Just fresh from the Astrophotography workshot by Remus, I applied his techniques to this photo and I must say the results are obviously better!

Thanks Remus!

Remember that this is just a 2-min exposure!

Hi,
Hmm... Yes! It's look better... :)
Remember that this is just a 2-min exposure!
Remember you took it in Mersing at ISO1600... the power of dark sky. :P :P

Have a nice day.
