startrail using film
mersing trip
Sad to say all three nights were washed out by clouds and occasional rain. Though there was only about an hour of clear skies on the second night, it was enough to excite some of the newbies.
Better luck next time!

Hi Gary:
Sorry just saw this.
I used a xple camera arrays (canon T-70s f1.4? 50mm lens)in Korea b4 for meteors. What i did was open full aperture but close down 1 stop. Use a fast color film eg ASA800 Dependings on the sky condition - if there are no light pollution or distance lightnings etc you can do 15 minutes or even 1/2 hourly exposure. You can always stack a couple of fotos digitally to get a longer looking trails later.
