Since Saturn will be the next "hot" planet to be put under the telescope, I find it more fun and more educational to observe if you know what are you looking at. So I extract the following information on the features of Saturn from the Association of Lunar & Planetary Observers website.
The symbolism used in the nomenclature of features is as follows:
N - North
E - Equatorial
S - South
B - Belt
Z - Zone
Te - Temperate
Tr - Tropical
R - Region
P - Polar
n - North component
s - South component
p - Preceding
f - Following
A0 or B10 - Cassini's Division between Ring A and Ring B
A5 - Encke's Division
Sh G or R - Shadow of the Globe on the Rings
