Where to look at photo DSOs in Singapore

Hi All.
Most of Singapore seems to have light pollution which isn't good for viewing or astrophotography.
So, the questions are:
Where in Singapore can I go to find dark areas? Currently I live in Pasir Ris, so the beach park there seems like a good idea.
Currently on a good night I can see about 5-6 stars of the Pleiades with my eyes ; can I do better?
Or where do people in Singapore usually go for dark-sky's?
