Extreme Bright "Star" in the Singapore Nite Sky

Hey, I notice this ultra-bright thing that appear in the west sky, about 45degr up from horizon. It began to appear in the evening around 7pm and never seems to set.
I doubt it is Venus because my understanding of Venus is that, though it appear bright during evening or dawn, it would dim off into the night sky or disappear from the morning sky.
It seems stationary, and for past two months, seems to "sticking" to the same spot in the sky.
So anybody here can help enlighten me what the hell is that? Is it Venus or a man-made satellite (Earth Space Station?) ??![confused [smilie=confused.gif]](./images/smilies/confused.gif)
