Thor's Helmet Nebula

Post by Meng Lee »

Inspired by the extremely delicate work by Kelvin (catalysm), I went to try Thor's Helmet nebula also

details:
VC 200L with reducer
Atik 16HR
Baader H alpha filter
7 x 5mins exposure

Very very tough to get fine details especially with hazy sky, differential flexure in my system (probing into it now) so the nebula is as noisy as the camera noise

Hehe, I set the FOV box in The Sky 6 and realised its a very good fit. So now my "The Sky 6" is full of FOV boxes on the screen!
