Hi,
The start the ball rolling, I'll submit the first Astrophoto for this category... moderator must set by example... ha ha ha

The object is NGC 5139 - Omega Centauri that I took on 03 Jun 2006 at my usual Tampines observation site.

The image was taken using the Sky-Watcher 120 F8.3 Achromatic Refractor on Vixen GP mount with SD-1 Single Axis Motor Drive. The camera used was Canon 300D with William-Optics VR-1 filter to reduce the chromatic aberration of the achromatic refractor.

I only managed to took a total of 7 images of 1 minutes exposure @ ISO800 unguided as the object was setting fast behind the building and cloud was starting to block it.

The image was process using IRIS, NeatImage to reduce noise and Photoshop to crop, resize and put in the text.

Have a nice day.
