Perseids? meteor showers

Post by rabien »

I heard that it's 12 august this year. but not sure bout it and i cant find anything on any sites either. Any idea what date would it be? And yeah, whether we are fortunate enough to have clear skies for it.

Hi:

There are a couple of meteor streams active currently...
I have started plots on 29/30 July..

Friday/Sat Aug 12/13 - Perseids Showers - A good one indeed. Radiant rise past mid night but highest 4-5am. Look NE...

Go out and look..

Clear Sky!

Horrible... East coast, west coast and even ngee ann poly is totally covered by clouds... You hardly even find the constellations...
