tat mount is pretty good in tracking

and definitely with the help of the location in australia that gave the extra boost for clarity..

Hi Jimmy,

The three shots in the first page are 5 min single exposures, taken with Canon 5D Mark II and Canon EF 15mm f/2.8 Fisheye lens at f/4, tracked with Eyebell CD-1 portable EQ mount.

The last shot in the second page is a 30s exposure taken with Canon 5D Mark II and Canon EF 15mm f/2.8 Fisheye lens at f/2.8

The mount is a great portable wide angle astrophotography tracking device, but for longer lenses it just can't handle.

Hey dude,

I only took one tripod, and it was used for the EQ mount and fisheye. I did use my Canon 70-200 f/4 IS to take a few handheld shots. Here are two of them. Taken at high ISO, poor quality:

Yes, the last 3 shots are all handheld shots due to lack of tripod. Full-res versions are quite noisy
