Hi,
Hmm... why don't you let the second highest bidder which is 10cents lower have the offer?? :P :P :P

Have a nice day.

Sorry to hear about the withdrawal... People who don't intend to keep their word shouldn't participate in the auctions! A real pain in the XYZ!!

That bad episode is over with reason cited in Q&A.

Funny thing, I have rxd more than a couple of offers after auction close, mostly from singastro acquaintance, to offer one and deny another at this closing price right off the bet is something I will rather not do.

To cut the chase and be fair to all, I will be relisting this deal tonight with the 3-day auction at where second highest bidder left off @ $1310.00. if there are no takers. I will give it away to my business associate when opportunity and timing is right.

Matthew

PS: Many asked if it is good, why sell. I have trouble justifying for > dozen scopes at home. This scope is far from small and stealthy, it always end up getting caught on my OC’s radar screen. To free up real estate and clutter, this one is always first to end up on the retrenchment list, despite its stellar performance.

Just curious - but have you browsed through his '539' feedbacks? Why is it for transactions for 'free' stuff?

Anyway, good luck for your re-auction! I'm sure some happy Singastro member is going to have it!

Cheers!

Hi Matthew,
Sorry for coming in late in this. I'm sure that is a very good price to start with. You will sell it soon!
Yeah, last minute back-outs are a thorn heh! gee.

Hi,
Sure, last minute pull-outs are thorns. But also bear in mind that nothing happens without reason.

I'm glad that I have NEVER backed out of any confirmed sales, as those who have sold their stuff to me know. I didn't even bargain, if I feel that it is fair for the seller to make a little out of the transaction.

However, bad experiences CAN happen (as in some members here who had problems with postal services). Sometimes, the damage done can be long-lasting. It is up to the parties involved to reassess the situation and learn a thing or two from the experience.

I sure learnt something recently.

To Matthew: I agree with weixing that your scope could go to the second highest bidder... it is fair for the second highest bidder who could have been successful, if not for that last-minute-pull-out person.
