What do you mean? Isn't it glowing in the picture above or am I hallucinating?

Here's the latest on the suit.

Started out feeling a little flimsy, but it's pretty solid now. Lots of clean-up to do next.

The arc reactor looks great...I think it could keep your house warm in winter and keep your telescope observatory running 24-7 for 1000 years!

It just stays the same brightness.

Torso coming together.

I put the hand together just for fun, but I am not going to use it. I don't like it, don't like the way it moves, (or doesn't), so I will probably make it out of stained thick cow-hide.

Mammoth day today. Went for a drive to pick up some more cold-rolled mild steel sheet, scrounged the local salvage yard and finally found what I was looking for - an old overhead projector. Picked it up for ten bucks. All I want is the lenses.

Once home, I traced out all the parts for the cod-piece and chest/back brace, got a lot of blisters from the aviation snips and a tennis ball sized muscle in my forearm.

I then hacked up the OHP for a swanky new cover on the arc reactor.

Here's all the bending and folding I got done tonight with a couple of pairs of pliers, gloved hands and the occasional tap with a mallet. So hard to do this quietly at night!

The Arc reactor is beautiful, Barry!
Are you going to install LEDs on the holes around the edge too? :)

Thanks mate. Yes, the LED's in the bottom don't quite catch the plastic ring enough so I have a plan to install a row of them behind it, in between the transformers. There is a bit of a gap under there so they should fit just fine. Some exposed red and blue wiring between them should actually look pretty good.
