Hi Clifford,

All three shots are 5 min single exposures, taken with Canon 5D Mark II and Canon EF 15mm f/2.8 Fisheye lens at f/4, tracked with Eyebell CD-1 portable EQ mount
Clear skies please...

brilliant pictures Jia Hao! Liked the wide expanse and composures....brings back memories too. Which part of the Outback did u drive to? Night temperatures may have been in the single-digits? The Milky Way must have been so crisp and bright then!

Hey Remus,

This place is 1/3 of the way from Alice Springs to Ayers Rock. Early morning temperature dropped to around 0 C, when we got frost on our bags. The low temperature, however, gave us the benefit of a colder camera, delivering lesser noise. The sky during totality was really amazing. The bloody red moon hanging right in the centre of Milky Way is definitely something to remember for a lifetime.
Clear skies please...
