Not true! The weather has been excellent since the scope arrived.

Yes it is the Obsession UC. Price of scope and options can be found on Obsession's website. I took most of the options : Shroud, encoder, case. Shipping was US$700-800, cant remember. Full GST was paid....%^*%! Shipping was via freight forwarder who sent it to my door in 3 packages : Shipping case containing scope, mirror in its own box and tube containing poles.

It is not a flat footed scope. If I were to wear high platform shoes, it would be but a short 1-step stool is required otherwise for comfortable viewing. The scope is rigid and smooth, still have not waxed the surfaces as recommended. Collimation even at F 4.2 did not seem more onerous than on the teleport, maybe because two kind souls offered their barlowed lasers. We got the secondary and focuser squared so the scope should be performing fully now.
wah..GST close to SGD$800???

Enjoy the scope!

the shipping seems reasonable! but considering it is the UC, it should be. The 20" Obsession costs USD$1250 to ship here!
