Oh um, cos I think business sch really isnt my type. (I was posted to a course I didn't opt for) and after alot of consultation den I see that physics is the main component of astronomy ah. But I dun bear hope thinking that I can do work in the space sector la. I just want study and work in the physical science sector to learn more about this fascinating world...unlike the business school who teaches u how to meet customer demands...make money....in other words, business revolves round money only.

Hi, didn't know there was a singapore astronomy forum, i live just 3 streets away from tp so probably bring my nexstar

welcome to singastro..which Nexstar do you have?
do update the equipment database with your equipment list and perhaps a photo as well of you and your scope . singastro is also very active in SP and Dempsey as well...do you drive?

in anycase, very interested to know what nexstar he has...I'm interested in checking out the nexstar 8i or nexstar 8....now if only shaun tay would join in!

Yeah observation sessions in TP or Bedok reservoir is a good idea look forward to it. Good chance to take a peek into the eyepiece of various scope.

Bedok reservoir quite bright leh .... why not try the other side of TP, near the condo, Tampines Ave 10, no street lights at all.

You can say that again :) ..... the water there helps to stablise the atmosphere there too :).

now i have confirmed with my club that the date will on 27th Feb which is a Friday and the venue is Temasek Poly field.. it'll be quite dark there..
so anyone interested just drop me a private message with ur contact number and wat equipment you are bringing.. light refreshment will be provided.. :)
