April 24th is abit fast, but I think it is a good date. Supposed to be Astronomy day.

But it's got to be public only and no comets. Stargazing and public areas don't mix because of all the light.

Anyone interested?

:lol: :wink: Hmm.... From the poor respond I think it is not a good idea. But seriously, I think we can hold it in a public area like any dark grass patch or hold it in any education institution( eg. poly or sec )all this can increase the awareness and interest of young and old alike. :wink: :wink: :lol: :roll:

Actually, SP will be having an overnight session to check out the comet again this coming friday. You might like to contact Sam Lee for this.

Yup! For your information, we will be overnighting AGAIN this friday in SP. Will be looking forward to hunting 2 comets, Comet NEAT C/2001 Q4, Comet LINEAR C/2002 T7.

Thanks for organising this event. Please let us know on the timings you will start observing. Is it from 8pm?

I'm working on Sat (yes...again...:-( ) but wouldn't mind sleeping earlier and dragging my butt out of bed early in the morning to catch the comets before going to work...heh heh

hi,
does anyone have a starmap that shows the position of the comet(s)? wanna find but am very lost reading those ephermeris stuff and descriptions of hopping from this star to that :P would really help if there's a map available...
