Lightning do Strike At The Same Place Twice

Post by cataclysm »

This is the afternoon thunderstorm that i witnessed today. It came fast and furious, barely allowed me the time to set up the camera and fired away several successsive shots to capture the lightnings. The picture is a composite of 3 exposures showing the lightnings striking the same area within a span of few minutes.

Hi,
Nice shot. :D :D

IMHO, lightning have the tendency to strike the same place more than once if they strike within a short period of time.

Have a nice day.

Nice shot. Quite scary, wonder if any buildings or people were hurt.

If only HDB can find some way to harness all that energy and put it into storage. One bolt would probably run a block for a couple of hours...talk about the green planet!
Nice shot..

You need many giant capacitors that can take millions of volts
