Results for NUS/NTU Astronomy Challenge

Secondary Cat:

1st: BPGHS Team 1
2nd: BPGHS Team 2
3rd: RI Team 1

Tertiary Category

1st: NJ Team 2
2nd: RJ Team 1
3rd: VJ Team 1

Congrats for all who won. Our team(NJ Team 2) won team 1st and best astronomer while the other team(NJ Team 1) entered the finals and got 4th so it was considered a success. Many many thanks to all the helpful members in Singastro who made this success possible by sharing their knowledge in astronomy, especially Mr Yeo who accompanied us in the late nights of preparation for the competition and taught us in observation. All of the Singastro members' contribution was invaluable! Cheers! :)

Hehe yeah it was fun

I'm in BPGHS Team 1, and the sec 4 in my team won individual champion for the secondary school category too :D . My school is really glad that our mostly-sec-2 team, BPGHS Team 2, came in second. Anyway the grand finals between my team and carlo's team was insane and fun! And yeah, the knowledge i learn from singastro through these months really help!

Eh, i think there's a little error about the NTU-NUS competition's history. I think NTU/NUS used to hold the competition on its own, forgot which (think is NTU), and only recently did they combine to hold the competition. My sec sch astro club closed down due to lack of members (i was sole surviving) so for a while i got little to no knowledge at all. Lucky for singastro! which revived my interest :)
